I’ve found myself going through a food revolution in my life lately. By changing what I eat, and how I eat it, I have begun enjoying food more than ever. The catch is this: now I suffer little or no guilt about what I eat, especially when I am cooking healthy meals that I LOVE. And, in five months (this being Dec. 2009), I have lost about 25 pounds. Wow. So, here I am, ready to share some of my ideas and my adoration for food.

I hope to keep a record of my creative process, or, in other words, my recipes. I get inspiration from all over the place–blogs, recipe search engines, restaurants, etc. I am not afraid to change up a recipe to make it suit my preferences for taste or health.

I am lucky enough to have a very supportive husband in this endeavor. Also, I am lucky he will try and eat almost anything–people that refuse to try new foods just confuse and confound me.

I hope you will join us as we cook and try new foods and ways to prepare them. I will do my best to keep you interested!

I also want to send out an extra special thank you to Kath Younger of Kath Eats. Kath, even though you have no idea who I am at this point, your blog has changed my life.  And, all because I went looking for a baked “fried” okra recipe. :)
